A Heart for Clean Water

Kruz has a heart for something none of us can live without, but we often don't appreciate how easy some of us can get it... clean, safe drinking water. Many people don't think twice about the running water they use every day, but in many countries around the world people don't have clean water, let alone running water. There are places where families and children live who have to use dirty, sometimes even contaminated, water to survive. Over 1 billion people don't have access to clean, safe water.

Kruz has been saddened to learn that kids and their parents in various areas of the world are continuously getting sick due to limited or no access to clean water. He has read reports that over 80% of the health threats in developing countries are due to a water related diseases, such as dirty, and contaminated water. Kruz's heart is dedicated to bringing clean water to the world because he's seen how so many men, women, and children are sick, and even dying due to the inability to use clean, disease-free water for their families and livestock.

Kruz has traveled the world to create a clean water supply for those who don't have one. He even traveled with Kalvin and Keith Page (founder of Kauzbots) to install a well in Africa. However, Kruz is very quick to help his friends realize that we can still do our part in our homes, schools and businesses where clean water is likely available in abundance.

Kruz wants us to all help with the water issues of our world. Turn the water off when we're brushing our teeth so that there can be more fresh water available to those who don't have it. Avoid drinking bottled water so even more of the fresh water isn't being taken up by bottled water companies. Always throw your trash in designated trash cans. Never dump chemicals near storm drains that lead to the ocean so you don't contaminate the drinking water. These are simple things we can do to help.
