A Heart for Oral Pediatric Health

After spending a lot of time with Kalvin and learning about many different causes, Khloe felt that there was one cause in particular that she needed to dedicate her time to, and that was oral hygiene. During her time with Kalvin, she saw many needs worth devoting her time to, but she noticed that oral hygiene was an area that not many were focusing on, and so many people who needed to hear about oral health. This disease can stay with them throughout their lives. Khloe knows that neglecting your oral health can also lead to bad breath. Bad breathe which can cause gingivitis, cavities or painful infections that can lead to removal of the infected tooth all together, and even oral cancer.

Oral hygiene is easy to overlook for the young and old. It's easy to say it can wait till tomorrow, or no one will know if I skip it. This is another reason why Khloe thinks it is so important to talk about it and spread the word on oral hygiene. She often tells people to brush their teeth at least 2, if not 3 times a day. She teaches how to brush their teeth and how to floss, often reminding children and parents to not be to not rush the time spent on tooth care. She urges people to go to the dentist regularly to get check ups and fillings. People don't know how bad it can really be. What someone thinks is harmless, by skipping their brushing and flossing, can actually do great damage.
