Homelessness

The root causes of homelessness include a lack of affordable housing, poor paying jobs, and under employment. Over 3.5 million Americans experience homelessness each year, and over 40% of them are families with children.

Clean Drinking Water

Water is the foundation for life, growth, and human development. Yet, more than 1 billion people lack access to safe water and over 2 billion lack basic sanitation. Some of the world’s most serious health threats are water-related diseases, which cause 80% of the illness in developing countries. Kruz is committed to doing his part to provide safe water for those in need.

Environment/Trees

Each year, wildres, storms, and insects destroy trees throughout our nation, and Kale is committed to doing her part to replace this precious resource. Trees are so important to our environment as they absorb carbon dioxide, put out oxygen, provide food and habitation for animals, and beautify our communities.

Autism

Autism is a devastating neurological and biological disorder that typically affects children between the ages of
18 months and five years of age. Autism currently affects 1 in every 150 children born today – making it more common than pediatric cancer, diabetes, and AIDS combined. Karthy is committed to supporting and educating families affected by autism.

Refugee Relief

Every year, millions of men, women, and children are caught in the worst of crisis, war, and disaster. Forced to flee their homes to escape danger, basic necessities like shelter, clean water, healthcare, and education are critical to their survival. Keifer is committed to bringing relief to refugees and uprooted people around the world.

Music For A Cure

Music For A Cure was founded on the belief that THERE IS LIFE IN MUSIC! . Our mission is a simple one: to unleash the healing power of music in order to uplift  and heal children in the hospital. We accomplish our mission through the financial support of music therapy programs at children’s hospitals as well as through our partnership with the non-profit organization, Music to Heal.

Pediatric End of Life Care

Most families with seriously ill children have limited options for care. Around-the-clock homecare can be isolating, as well as emotionally and physically exhausting. What if there were professionally-staffed homes that provided respite and end of life care for families in need? Kourage is committed to giving families the gift of time.

This silent epidemic affects the ability of millions of children to eat, sleep, and learn, and it can even cause lifelong health problems. Yet, it is one of the most easily preventable diseases. 2.4 million women living in the United States have been diagnosed with and treated for breast cancer. It is comforting to talk with someone who’s been there. No one should feel alone. Kaprice is committed to providing emotional relief for anyone touched by breast cancer.

World Hunger

More than 840 million people in the world are malnourished – 799 million of them live in the developing world. Whether due to drought, conflict, or disease, mothers and fathers will not be able to find enough food for their families in poor communities around the world. Karissa is committed to helping hungry children and their families get the assistance they desperately need.
