A Heart for those with Breast Cancer

Kaprice has a big heart for loving and comforting others. Her big heart helps her focus on a big issue, breast cancer. It is estimated that 207,090 new cases of breast cancer will be diagnosed in women in 2010 alone (American Cancer Society). Kaprice quickly learned that breast cancer is the most common type of cancer among women and quickly dedicated her heart to fight against breast cancer.

Kaprice spends her time volunteering to help and comfort those who are battling breast cancer. She spends time with them, sometimes just talking to them about joyful memories of the past or happy plans for the future. She makes them "get well" cards and personally delivers them. Sometimes she gets the older folks in Doctor Krakowitz's factory to drive home a woman who needs a ride after a visit to the hospital for treatment.

Kaprice has learned you can help people and change the world in the simplest of ways. Things like being there to hold a hand, give a hug or share a laugh. They all can make a big difference in lives and our world. We can write letters, poetry and draw pictures. It doesn't take much to brighten someone's day. It just takes showing them how special they are to you- just the way they are, and give from the heart.

Kaprice is always looking for people who want to help her in comforting those who fight against breast cancer.
